Words and Feelings
Author: Billy Whisenant
Reviewer: Bill McDonald – President of the MWSA
Book Has A lifetime of Recorded Poetry
Poet and writer Billy Whisenant takes poetry that
represents 26 years of his life and shares them in a neat little poetry book
called, “Words and Feelings.” His thoughts and reflections are a
rainbow of different observations and emotions. His visions of the
world and life are painted by his emotional connection at that moment and
place in time and we can see that his words have roamed all over the inside
of his heart and soul.
This book is filled with touching little poems and
prose that says a lot in a few words. Billy offers us all a little
view inside himself; really exposing himself emotionally to judgment and
making him vulnerable to the rough and tumble world of critics and
non-poetry loving citizens of the world.
Light reading but heavy with after thoughts as you
digest what you just read. Poetry includes all kinds of subjects and
situations are about life in general. Recommend for most age groups
including teenagers. If you enjoy poetry this is a great book for you.
