MWSA Film Review

Welcome Home

Produced by: Jeff Seeber and the Minnesota Platoon

Reviewer: Bill McDonald – President of the MWSA

The best Power Point presentation I have ever watched!

These guys humbly call themselves “The Minnesota Platoon” but to me I call them the heroes of the ultimate welcome home party for Vietnam Veterans!  Looks like Jeff Seeber and his team of patriotic warriors have seriously created something that will move people emotionally and spiritually.  I could not begin to describe all that is in this 42 minute and 50 second presentation so I have taken their own website description on the content and added it at the end of this review.

I love the music selection and the photos that they used. They captured the feelings of that time and place in history.  Listening to John Wayne’s reading of “Why are you marching son…” is a classic inspirational recording that they weave into a huge list of other visual and audio treats that totally capture the Vietnam area.  I am speechless; and for those who know me well that is well beyond anything they have ever experienced from me.  They succeeded with their intentions and their missionI felt welcomed home!

My fullest appreciation goes to the whole team that created this power point presentationThe Minnesota Platoon has become a symbol of healing.  I hope that millions of people eventually find their work and check it out at their website: http://home.att.net/~sealpoint/index.html.

God bless this work and those who dedicated their time and efforts to make it happen.
