Top Notch International Spy Thriller –
A Page Turner!
When most readers think of great
international spy thrillers several authors jump out at you like Tom Clancy,
Robert Ludlum and Gayle Lynds. Now you can think about adding another name
to that illustrious group of authors
– Ward Larsen. In his debut novel
“The Perfect Assassin” he has found his own place on that
literary pedestal of spy thriller genre writers.
The story’s plot is exciting,
entertaining, suspenseful, intriguing, and even romantic. The characters are
strong and although most of the story is done with a good narrative, the
dialog, when used, completes and compliments both the action and plot. The
author works it all together into one great story. This book has it all,
terrorists, nuclear weapons, murder, spies, heroes, evil bad guys, and
double agents. It is a book you cannot put down!
This book begs for a movie version; it is
that kind of high action adventure story that would play well on the big
screen.
The MWSA gives this book its top
rating of FIVE STARS.
It also receives my personal
endorsement!

Rather than portraying a sniper
in enemy territory, Ward Larsen’s main character performs on an
international stage. His venue involves a number of countries, some with
friendly ties to each other; then again there are nations combative towards
one another.
High level intrigue within
cabinet level offices produces international conflict and suspicion. Nuclear
weapons become the coin of intended conquest. Can those bent upon
destruction be stopped in time to avoid international disruption?
The author’s main character has
the experience and the clandestine ability to combat those whose intent is
evil. Accused of murder and suspected of treason, David is forced to work
from clandestine areas, constantly fearful of both friendly and enemy
attempts to capture him. Christine, a friend who is a medical doctor, treats
him for various wounds suffered during his search for terrorists bent on
dooming relations between Israel, England and the United States.
This is a fast paced novel,
exciting in its portrayal of intrigue and the black arts. There exists the
human element, relations between David and Christine, along with a constant
demand for her to trust that his efforts to secure peace among the three
countries are not treasonous.
