A Christian Book About
Finding Meaning to Your Life
Author and minister, Peter H. Zindler,
makes his points about life and God with some great selections of scripture
along with personal stories and antidotes. His book is called “Seeds
of Greatness Sown In The Heartland” and I think it will deliver a
hopeful message for all readers.
He begins his book by telling us
something of his own life. He tells us about being a drunk and how he turned
himself around and became a minister. His personal tale hooked me into
continuing to read the rest of his book. I wanted to find out what was
motivating him now in his life. There are many insightful stories that bring
his view of life into better focus for the average person who should be able
to identify with him.
The book is clearly written and an easy
read. It is not one of those “text book” style religious books but a honest
and open look at life through the eyes and heart of a man who has something
of value to offer to the reader. I found the chapters interesting and
enjoyable to read. More importantly they will inspire many readers to
explore their own spiritual roots; perhaps, motivating some to make an even
bigger effort in their own lives.
This is a good gift book to give to
someone special in your life that might need a little spiritual
encouragement; but it is also a wonderful book to give to yourself! It is
worth spending a couple of hours to read. It might just change you in some
way.
