Great Book For Young Boys and Good Old Boys!

When I got a copy of the book “Corvette” which is one in as series of books produced by Motorbooks (www.motorbooks.com) I was told that it was aiming at younger male readers (Teenage boys). However, after my 5 year old grandson grabbed the book from me and began looking at all the great color photos, it was clear that this book series had no real limits on what age a boy may be. I also enjoyed reading it to him and I am over 60 years old.

The books were originally designed to promote reading interests in younger male readers; but to be honest, it is written well enough to be a good book for any male adult. Reading it to my grandson, it just felt like “the male bonding thing” to do. Any Corvette owner or any of us who just have dreams of driving one of these classic cars – will find real pleasure in reading and looking through all the pages. The book is well done and gives you enough facts and data to satisfy the curious mind. It is the photos of those wonderful sports cars that will penetrate to the deepest levels of your brain however and find yourself daydreaming down some open road with the wind blowing across your face.

The authors, Mike Mueller and Bob Woods, did an excellent job of capturing the power and images of the Corvette. This book is not just for teenage boys or younger children—it is a delightful reading adventure for all males of any age! It receives the MWSA’s Top Rating of FIVE STARS!
