For the MIA/POW

who is there to call the names of those who are not home
who is there to hold the hands of fam'lies left alone
who tolls the bell who lights the flame
of those in Missing's hell
if we forget to mark their time
if we forget to stand
if we forget to watch and wait
then who in all this land
will ever be so free again
will ever have the trust
to fight against the apathy
to win a cause so just
we are there to call the names
of those still on the list
we are there to hold the hands
of kids whose dads are missed
