  •  Who can join MWSA?

    Membership in MWSA is generally reserved for published active duty military, retirees, or military veterans.  We also offer memberships to non-military personnel whose work includes strong military themes.  While most members are authors, some are poets, performers and artists with the same military focus.

     MWSA offers discounted dues payments for longer membership terms.  You now have four choices for the term/length of you MWSA membership:

    • One year membership - $30
    • Two-year membership - $51
    • Three-year membership - $72
    • Lifetime membership - $300

  • Where can I see a list of MWSA members?

    • Members are listed in alphabetical groupings (by last name) in our membership area.
    •  You may also search for an individual member on our search page. 

  • Can I suggest that someone else join MWSA?

    Yes, and we'd love to expand our membership.  If you have someone in mind, please use our membership referral form to suggest a friend or colleague.

  • How can I find out when my membership expires?

    Membership information is now available online.  Go to our member search page or the membership list page and find your name.  Your membership status and date of expiry of your dues will be listed.  The list is updated about once each week.

  • Can I sign up to receive updates on MWSA news and events?

    Yes.  As a dues-paying MWSA member, you'll receive regular email updates with the latest information on MWSA News, Happenings and Events.
