Truly Blessed Music Performed From the Heart!

Derek Clark writes from his soul in this collection of soulful, blues, ballads with some great hard rock and a taint of country thrown into the mix as well. It is hard for me to define what kind of genre his music is but it is not hard to know what I like – and I LIKE THIS CD! There is even something that sounds like rap music to this old veteran but again, I love it all! Most of his songs dig deep down inside and as a result we are gifted with 13 inspired selections that will delight and inspire – all while you are entertained. The CD gets its title from his patriot rendition dedicated to our service men and women called “Goodnight, Soldier.”  That song reflects how he feels and how he has been touched by our nation’s warriors. It is not the only song he dedicates to nations soldiers.

There is tremendous energy and emotion in this package of songs. You will find yourself listening not only to music but to the wonderfully poetic words. The words are creative, inspiring and at times haunting. This music is NOW and it is in tune with this generation but the odd thing is that even those of us old Vietnam veterans (over 60 years of age!) will get into the beat and rhythm of the cuts on this CD. I personally recommend this music CD. I have become a huge fan of Derek Clark.
